That’s All Folks – Peter 9

15th August 2015:

Well folks; That’s It.

We undertook to drive overlandtoparis and we have done just that, driven 25,500 kilometers via 18 countries in 3.5 months. we visited Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, China, Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Austria, Germany and France   We hope you have enjoyed sharing and reading about our adventures, the people we met and the challenges we faced.

If there is one lesson that I have learnt from this adventure is that the world is full of beautiful hospitable people. We found that from Malaysia to France all people were essentially the same, they aspired to the same things, found family and friends the core of their lives and wished nobody harm. We read no newspapers, saw no TV and therefore had no fear; with a smile and patience you can conquer the world.

Until a future adventure, take care, keep smiling and don’t let the media create fear in you.
